TIM BROWNE (Director) – Managing Director

Tim has 33 years of experience in the Electrical industry, including 10 years International Management experience in the UK and Australia, and 14 years management experience in New Zealand. Tim has also worked in high end Electrical Companies employing up to 1000 staff. Based in our New Plymouth head office, Tim oversees all activities within the business including new business development, stream lining current business, keeping up with market changes and ensuring that all employees work effectively and safely. Tim has an overall responsibility to drive target growth with P&L accountability. He is enthusiastic and totally committed to the future goals and aspirations of NPE-Tech, our clients and partners. Tim believes in a hands on approach to increasing business growth, customer relationships and forging new partnerships.

GRANT MAJOR (Director) – Network & Field Services Supervisor

Grant took up an apprenticeship with the New Plymouth Electricity Department and has continued to work in the Electrical Industry ever since. While employed at the NP Electricity Department Grant worked predominantly as a day rural faultsman. With the development of NPE-Tech, Grant’s role extended into Field Services for a number of energy retailers.

Today Grant is the Network Connections Manager and Field Services Supervisor. NPE-Tech is an approved Powerco contractor, allowing Grant and his team to carry out Network Connections across Powerco’s Central North Island network. Grant oversees the Field Services and Network Connection teams, while also being involved in Inspection Services and Retailer Tariff Meter Installation – a recently developed “one stop” electricity connection service.
